Notting Hill.

There are some movies you will go back to a thousand times and there are particular scenes you will go back to a million times. This particular scene, touched me somewhere really deep, resonated with me to my heart's core. It is not easy to confess your love for / to someone. Confessing is secondary, acknowledging it yourself, within you is primary. This scene shows the courage it takes to confess your love, tell that someone how you feel for them and hear them turn you down. It takes all the courage to not break down and still maintain your dignity while being at your most vulnerable and to walk out of there with a smile on your face. It takes a lot more than courage to ask for the love from that person you think you deserve. The smile on her face when she says "I'm also just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her", tugs at your heart.

They say that, we "Fall" in love. We don't plan to fall for someone / anyone. It just happens. You fall hard and sometimes you get up smiling, unscathed but other times, you take the hit. :)

We fall in love, this is not in our control but how we wish it was. We chase after this love, because we think we deserve it. Unlike in movies, in real life, you end up with a question, "Do you even deserve to be loved?"
